THE BAND

Brett Bush

// Vocals/Lead Guitar

Brett began his musical career at a young age. He received his first guitar at age 10 and hasn't put it down since. He loved classic rock as a kid and was most influenced by Angus Young of AC/DC. That influence carried over into some early bands Brett started including Barb Wire and Victory or Death, both of which were rock bands. IN early 2014 Brett formed Dust In My Coffee. Brett grew up in the rodeo arena riding bulls and riding cutting horses from a young age. He now trains horses and plays western music with his band all across the west.

Chuck Jamison

// Bagpipes/Drum

Chuck has been playing bagpipes since 1990.  He learned to play in the 91st Division Army Band.  He has also played Irish drum and other percussion with local Celtic folk groups since 1995.   Chuck worked the cattle chutes at the Roseville Auction every weekend in the early 60s.

Jake Gibbons

// Harmonica/Guitar

Jake has been playing music since he used to sit at his grandfathers knee and listen to the harmonica. He is a songwriter in his own right and now plays harmonica with Dust In My Coffee.

Jake was born and raised in Lincoln, CA and spent most of his time outdoors fishing and camping. He grew up around rodeo and horses though never rode professionally. He returned from active duty with the US Air Force in 2017 and started shoeing horses.

Ryan Laursen

// Mandolin

Ryan has been playing for a number of years in Celtic bands and brings a whole new flavor to the bands cowboy/Celtic roots. Ryan not only plays the mandolin but the banjo, bodhran, and has been known to flick the bones on occasion. No matter the time or day, if you happen to come across Ryan there is a good chance he'll have some type of instrument within his grips.

Ethan Lewis

//Fiddle

Ethn has been playing fiddle and other instrument most of his life.  He has been a professional musician for several year and teaches fiddle as well as performing with Dust In My Coffee and other groups.
